Day 01: Delhi Arrival by (Flight)
Welcome to the land of the first civilization. You arrive in Delhi, the capital of India. Meeting at the airport with a
representative of Monks and Monkeys Travels. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Rest.
Modern Delhi (the capital of India) – was the capital of seven empires in the history of India. According to the
Archaeological Survey of India, there are 60,000 sites of world importance in Delhi, many of which were built more than
a few millennia ago. A fast-growing metropolis, the largest city in India with a population of 25 million (the second most
populous city in the world), successfully combines the old and the most modern India, where you can get acquainted with
amazing traditions, customs and ancient sights.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast.
At 0830 hours excursion with a visit to:
Red Fort- Is an iconic historical monument that bears witness to the nation’s rich past. Constructed between 1638 and
1648 under the rule of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the fort served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for
over two centuries.
Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (265km – 6hrs)
Breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed for Jaipur.
Jaipur also known as the Pink City, is the capital of Indian state of Rajasthan. One of the largest cities in India, Jaipur is also
home to all the modern amenities with some of the most exotic hotels and resorts in the world.Upon arrival, visit to –
Birla Temple
It is also known as the Laxmi Narayan temple and is the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Vishnu and Goddess
Lakshmi. It was built by one of the famous business families of India, the Birla family, who were given this land by the
Maharaja of Jaipur for a token sum of one rupee. The B.M Birla Foundation built the temple on this land in 1988.
Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Hawa Mahal
– The Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of Winds,” is one of Jaipur’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of the city’s architectural and cultural heritage.
Amer Fort-
The Amber Fort, also known as the Amer Fort, is a majestic fort located on a hill in Amer, a town near Jaipurin the Indian state of Rajasthan. The construction of the Amber Fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I.
City Palace
– The City Palace is a magnificent complex that showcases the grand, luxurious, and royal lifestyle of the city’srulers, who continue to hold their legacy for generations.
Jantar Mantar
– The Jantar Mantar is a collection of astronomical observatories built in India during the 18th century, and
one of the most famous of these observatories. The Jantar Mantar was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, a keen
astronomer and ruler of Jaipur, between 1727 and 1734.
Galtaji Temple
– Regarded as a highly sacred pilgrimage with great historical significance, the Galta Ji temple complex isbasically a cluster of several temples, Galta Ji being the main temple. The temples are built within a narrow crevice of a
mountain pass in the Aravalli hil
Day 05: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (260 km-06 hrs)
Breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed for Jaipur.
On the way visit
Abhaneri
– (or often called as Chand Baori) is a stepwell located in Abhaneri village, about 90 km from Jaipur, is one of the oldest and most photographed ancient monuments in Rajasthan. Built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha dynasty in the 9th century AD, it is one of the largest stepwells in the world.
Fatehpur Sikri
– (“The City of Victory”) was an important halt for merchants on the routes across northern India, and stands as a testimony to the architectural achievements of the Mughal Empire in the late 16th century. It became the
Mughal capital under the rule of the Emperor Akbar (1556-1605), who moved his residence to the city and erected a major
new palace complex.
Day 06: Agra Sightseeing
Agra, a city located in the northern part of India, is renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and significant cultural heritage. Agra’s history dates back to the Mahabharata era, where it was called Agrevana, meaning “the border of the forest.” However, its prominent historical significance stems from the Mughal period when it served as the capital
of the Mughal Empire from 1556 to 1658 and reached its zenith under the rule of emperors such as Akbar, Jahangir, and Shah Jahan. The city became a center of art, culture, learning, and commerce.
Day 07: Agra – Jhansi (Train: Shatabdi 0817h/1048h), Jhansi – Orchha – Khajuraho (170 Kms -4 Hrs)
Breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed to Agra Cantt railway station to board the train to Jhansi.
Arrival at Jhansi railway station, assistance by our representative and late drive to Orchha.
Situated on the banks of the Betwa River, Orchha was once the capital of the Bundela Rajputs and is renowned for its wellpreserved temples, palaces, and tombs.
Later visit –
Orchha Palace
– The Orchha Fort Complex is the centerpiece of the town’s heritage, comprising several palaces, temples,
and fortifications. It includes Raja Mahal, known for its beautiful murals and frescoes depicting various aspects of courtly
life, Jahangir Mahal built in honor of Emperor Jahangir’s visit.
Raja Ram Palace
– The Ram Raja Temple is one of the most revered temples in Orchha. It is dedicated to Lord Rama, and
the temple is unique because it is believed to house the only deity of Lord Rama in India where he is worshipped as a king.
Chaturbhuj Temple
– This temple is known for its unique architectural style and its elevated position, offering panoramic
views of Orchha and the surrounding landscape.
Chattris (Cenotaphs)
– The Chhatris are elaborate cenotaphs built in honor of the Bundela rulers. They are located on the
banks of the Betwa River and feature distinctive domed structures and intricate carvings.
Later drive to Khajuraho. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 08: Khajuraho – Varanasi (400 kms / 08 hrs)
Breakfast at 0800 hours, check out from hotel.
Khajuraho is a renowned historical and architectural site located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is
famous for its group of stunning temples that are celebrated for their intricate and erotic sculptures.
Day 09: Varanasi – Sarnath – Varanasi
Varanasi, also known as Benares or Kashi, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and is regarded
as the spiritual capital of India. Varanasi’s history dates back over 3,000 years. It is mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures
such as the Rigveda, making it one of the oldest living cities in the world.
BHU (Banaras Hindu University)
– Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the most prestigious and largest residential
universities in Asia, founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, a noted Indian educationist and freedom fighter in 1916. It comprises 6 institutes, 14 faculties (streams), and more than 140 departments. The complex also comprises new Vishwanath temple.
Bharat Mata Mandir
– It is a unique temple dedicated to Bharat Mata, or Mother India, who is depicted as a
personification of the Indian nation rather than a specific deity. The temple was inaugurated in 1936 by the then Prime
Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.
Sarnath
– It is one of the four major pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. It is revered for being the site where Buddha
delivered his first sermon, also known as the “Dharmachakrapravartana Sutta” (Setting in Motion the Wheel of Dharma)
to his first five disciples. This sermon marked the beginning of Buddhism as a religious and philosophical tradition.
Day 10: Varanasi – Kathmandu (By Flight)
Breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed to Varanasi airport, to catch your flight for Kathmandu, Nepal.
Kathmandu, the capital and largest city of Nepal, is a vibrant cultural and historical hub nestled in the Kathmandu Valley.
It is known for its rich heritage, stunning architecture, and as a gateway to the Himalayas.
Day 11: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Breakfast at 0800 Hrs, then start your excursion with visit to –
Durbar Square
– The centre of the ancient city. Durbar Square is a group of temples and shrines, with carved wooden
ceilings, doors and windows. Jagganath Temple, famous for its erotic carvings, the fearsome stone image of the sixarmed Kala Bhairab. We will visit the residence of “Kumari Devi”, the only living goddess in the world. Then we enjoy the
views over the Kathmandu Valley from Swayambunath.
Day 12: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Breakfast at 0800 Hrs, then start your excursion with visit to –
Bhaktapur
– Bhaktapur or “The City of Devotees” still retains the medieval charm and visitors to this ancient city are
treated with a wealth of cultural and artistic wonders. The stone temple of Batsala Devi which is also located in the
Durbar Square is filled with intricate carvings. The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other
architectural gems like the Lion Gate, Statue of King Malla Bhupatindra, Picture Gallery, Batsala Temple. The fivestoreyed pagoda was built in 1702 AD by King Bhupatindra Malla.
